Raw Goat Milk Soap Lavender Calendula

Our Raw Goat Milk Soap is a gentle, creamy bar crafted with fresh raw goat milk and skin-loving botanicals for a nourishing everyday cleanse. Naturally rich in fats, proteins, vitamins, and lactic acid, goat milk helps cleanse while leaving the skin feeling soft, conditioned, and comfortable rather than stripped or dry. Calendula is traditionally treasured for its soothing and skin-nourishing properties, while lavender and chamomile brings a calming botanical touch and a soft, relaxing aroma. The result is a rich, creamy lather and a beautifully gentle bar made for face, hands, body, and everyday skin care.

Ingredients:

Calendula infused oil, Coconut Oil, Raw Goat Milk, Shea Butter, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Chamomile Essential Oil

Calendula Infused Oil - Calendula is traditionally loved in skin care for its soothing and conditioning qualities. Infusing calendula flowers for 6 months into oil captures oil-soluble botanical compounds that complement the soap’s nourishing oils and help leave skin feeling soft and comfortable.

Coconut Oil - Helps create the bubbly, cleansing lather that makes the bar feel rich and satisfying to use. Its fatty-acid profile contributes cleansing power and hardness to the finished soap while helping wash away everyday oils and impurities.

Raw Goat Milk - We use raw goat milk that has not been pasteurized before being added to our soap, allowing it to begin with its naturally occurring fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and other milk components intact rather than first being exposed to the heat of pasteurization. Goat milk is naturally rich in skin-conditioning fats and contains lactic acid, which contributes to the wonderfully creamy, gentle character of milk-based soap. The result is an exceptionally creamy, nourishing bar that leaves skin feeling soft, conditioned, and comfortable after cleansing.

Shea Butter - Rich in fatty acids and naturally occurring unsaponifiable compounds that are prized in skin care for their emollient properties. In soap, it contributes to a creamy, conditioning lather and helps the skin feel smooth and moisturized rather than overly stripped.

Distilled Water - Used to dissolve the sodium hydroxide and allow the soapmaking reaction to occur evenly. Using purified water also helps avoid unwanted minerals and impurities that can be present in tap water.

Sodium Hydroxide - Also known as lye, is an essential part of traditional cold-process soapmaking. It reacts with the oils and butters through saponification, transforming them into soap and naturally occurring glycerin; when the formula is properly made and cured, the sodium hydroxide has been consumed by this reaction.

Castor Oil - Castor oil is especially valued in soapmaking for helping create a dense, creamy, longer-lasting lather. Rich in ricinoleic acid, it complements the other oils and helps give the finished bar a smooth, conditioning feel.

Lavender Essential Oil - Gives the soap its soft, fresh herbal-floral aroma and makes everyday cleansing feel calming and spa-like. It also contains naturally occurring aromatic compounds such as linalool and linalyl acetate and has a long history of use in botanical skin-care preparations.

Chamomile Essential Oil - Adds a gentle, warm botanical note while complementing calendula and lavender in a skin-focused formula. Chamomile has traditionally been used in preparations intended for delicate, dry, or easily irritated-feeling skin, making it a natural addition to a soothing goat milk soap.
